Scandinavian Wedding exists for one purpose: to help international couples get legally married in Denmark, with their case properly assessed first.
Scandinavian Wedding is led by Christel Winther, who has worked with international weddings and couples for more than 25 years. The service combines detailed case handling with practical knowledge of Danish marriage procedures and ceremonies.
That combination matters more than it sounds. A marriage application is an administrative case with documents, deadlines and a decision-maker. A ceremony is a day in a specific Danish town, with a municipality, two witnesses and travel to arrange. Most problems we see come from a couple being helped with one of those and left alone with the other.
How we work
- Assessment before purchase. Nobody is sold a package before a person has read their situation.
- Plain answers. If something in your case is uncertain, we say it is uncertain and explain what would resolve it.
- No promises we cannot keep. Approval belongs to the authorities and ceremony dates belong to municipalities. We will never tell you otherwise to close a sale.
- Careful with your data. We do not ask for passports or sensitive documents through this website, and we only request documents when they are actually needed.
