The Danish government application fee of DKK 2,100 is paid directly to the Agency of Family Law when the application is submitted.

The €149 review fee can be credited towards a later Full Service purchase when we accept the case and you proceed within the stated validity period.

Already Approved — Ceremony Assistance

Price confirmed after reviewing your approval

Hold a valid Certificate of Marital Status and need to change municipality, date or place? We assess the certificate's expiry and applicability and help coordinate an available ceremony. No new application or government application fee is needed where your existing approval remains valid and applicable. Dates and any change of place require confirmation; availability is flexible, not guaranteed.

Which service fits your case?

Guided Service is for couples who want a document checklist, document review and preparation guidance, while submitting the application and booking the ceremony themselves.

Full Service includes managed application preparation and submission, communication concerning the application and coordination of an available ceremony after valid approval. Complex circumstances may require an individual review before we can recommend it.

Already approved is for couples who hold a valid Certificate of Marital Status and need help turning it into a ceremony before it expires.

If you are unsure, do not guess. The free assessment exists precisely so that a person can tell you which level your case actually needs.

Government fee and separate costs

Full Service includes VAT and the current government application fee. With Guided Service, you pay that fee directly to The Danish Agency of Family Law on submission. Complex Case Review is an assessment, not an application.
Municipal fees, where a municipality charges for a ceremony or for extra services.
Translation, notarisation, apostille and legalisation costs in your own country.
Travel, accommodation and anything relating to a celebration around the ceremony.

Government fees, processing times, approval and ceremony availability are controlled by the relevant Danish authorities and may change.

Apostille and Certificate Handling

Optional help after the ceremony, quoted separately. Whether an apostille, legalisation or translation is needed depends on the country and the intended use of your marriage certificate. We explain any proposed certificate handling, translations, courier charges and official fees clearly in a written quote. These services are not universally required and do not guarantee recognition in another country.
