How it works

How the Process Works

From an enquiry reviewed by a team member to an available ceremony: your situation is assessed before a service is recommended. The authorities decide approval and the municipality confirms availability.

  1. 1

    Complete the enquiry form

Tell us about your situation and ceremony plans through our enquiry form. Please do not send passports or sensitive documents at this stage.

  2. 2

A named team member assesses your situation

A team member reviews your enquiry and asks for clarification where needed. This is an individual service assessment, not an official eligibility decision.

  3. 3

Receive the service, total price and next steps in writing

Your written recommendation explains the scope, total price and government fee treatment. You decide whether to start; there is no automatic purchase from the enquiry form.

  4. 4

    Prepare documents using confirmed instructions

After you start, we request the documents needed for your case through confirmed handling instructions. Portal access is offered only when enabled and confirmed for your case.

  5. 5

    Submit the checked application

With Full Service, we prepare and submit the managed application to The Danish Agency of Family Law and handle communication about it. With Guided Service, you submit the application yourself using our guidance. The authority decides approval.

  6. 6

Arrange an available ceremony after valid approval

Full Service includes ceremony coordination once valid approval allows it, subject to municipality availability. With Guided Service, you book using our guidance. Already Approved assistance is separately assessed and quoted.

Timelines depend on The Danish Agency of Family Law and on municipal availability, and both change through the year. We will tell you the current expectation for your case in your assessment rather than publishing a number here that may be wrong by the time you read it.

What we do not do

  • We do not promise approval. That decision belongs to The Danish Agency of Family Law.
  • We do not promise a specific ceremony date before a municipality confirms it.
  • We do not give an opinion on whether your marriage will be recognised in a third country; that is decided by that country.
  • We do not collect passports or sensitive documents through this website.
